How Many DUIs Are Too Many?

A man in New Mexico has received his 22nd drunken driving charge after a highway patrol officer found him lying on the ground next to his car on the shoulder of a local interstate, reported the Associated Press.

Police discovered that the 51-year-old man had previously been arrested five other times in New Mexico and 16 times in other states for drunk driving.

Now, I know this guy probably already lost his license, though if he is willing to drive intoxicated then he is probably willing to drive without a license. Since drunk driving is a direct threat to others, it would probably be best to lock up someone who clearly shows no regard for public safety.
